Supernova

To register for the contest, you must fill in the form registration by clicking on one of the buttons on this page.

THREE PIECES WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED FOR EVALUATION.
The tracks are to be inserted:

• via a link to an external player (Spotify, Bandcamp, Soundcloud, Mixcloud, or any other that allows the track to be accessed and listened to);
• by uploading tracks via .zip files.

Please note: whether tracks will be shared via upload or if a non-public linkthe latter will never be disseminated but will only serve the jury for evaluation purposes.

You may choose to participate in only one of the three finals, at your discretion. In form you will be asked to make this choice.

Following completion, you will be redirected to the secure PayPal payment to pay the entry fee. Once you have paid your contribution, you will be entered and will have access to the jury's evaluation. The jury will evaluate the three proposed pieces.

The jurors will then select the finalists, who will be announced about 7 days later the end of registration!

The registration fee corresponds to € 30,99 for both solo projects and bands. 

The jury is in charge of listening to the three pieces brought to their attention during the entry. They can be entered via links in the form or upload field. Five finalists will be selected for each of the three finals, which will be announced about 7 days later the end of registration. Selected participants will be notified by email and announced on the official Color Fest channels.

N.B. Any link, file or .zip archive submitted through the Form that is not working, corrupt or invalid will be automatically discarded. In view of the requests we receive, we kindly ask all artists to carefully check the correct functioning and validity of what they have sent before submitting.

The three finals will be held on 23 May in Bologna, 2 June in Rome, 9 June in Rende (CS). Further information will be provided progressively closer to May. The live performances will be held in front of the jury at an open event dedicated to Supernova. The performances can be recorded and published later on the Color Fest channels.

The three winning projects will play on the stage of Color Fest XII on 14 August, 15 August and 16 August 2024. It is planned refund costs of EUR 200 per band + board and lodging (for the day of the performance) + 3-day pass for each band member + interview in the Festival podcast (Color Fest Backstage).

Projects that are selected for the finals will be asked for the Technical Data Sheet (based on this, it will be defined what to bring as personal tools and what will be provided by the organisation)
