You want to play at the Color Fest ?
Supernova is the contest that selects three new artistic projects that will play on stage at Colour Fest on 11, 12 and 13 August 2026. We are looking for new musical projects to support their growth by involving them in the Festival Lineup.
The focus on up-and-comers and their paths is at the heart of Color Fest.
The contest will see two finals:
- 22 January - Bologna
- 29 January - Rende (Cosenza)
During the Finals, a jury of music industry experts will select three projects. These lucky winners will have the opportunity to perform at Color Fest 2026.

To register for the contest, you must fill in the form registration by clicking on one of the buttons on this page.
Three pieces will be required to be submitted for evaluation. The pieces are to be included:
- via a link to an external player (Spotify, Bandcamp, Soundcloud, Mixcloud, or any other that allows the track to be accessed and listened to);
- by uploading tracks via .zip file or by uploading them individually (max. 3 files)
Please note: whether tracks will be shared via upload or if a non-public linkthe latter will never be disseminated but will only serve the jury for evaluation purposes.
You may choose to participate in only one of the two finals, at your discretion. In form you will be asked to make this choice.
At the end of the compilation, you will be able to make the payment of the entry fee via Stripe, in total security. Once you have paid your contribution, you will be entered and will have access to the jury's evaluation. The jury will evaluate the three proposed pieces.
The jurors will select the finalists, who will be announced through the official festival channels and also communicated by e-mail.
The registration fee corresponds to € 30,99 for both solo projects and bands.
The jury is in charge of listening to the three pieces brought to their attention during the entry. They can be entered via links in the form or upload field. Five finalists will be selected for each of the three finals, which will be announced through official festival channels and also communicated by e-mail.
N.B. Any link, file or .zip archive submitted through the Form that is not working, corrupt or invalid will be automatically discarded. In view of the requests we receive, we kindly ask all artists to carefully check the correct functioning and validity of what they have sent before submitting.
The two finals will be held on 22 January in Bologna and 29 January in Rende (CS). Further information will be provided progressively closer to May. The live performances will be held in front of the jury at an open event dedicated to Supernova. The performances can be recorded and published later on the Color Fest channels.
The three winning projects will play on the Colour Fest XIV stage on 11 August, 12 August and 13 August 2026. It is planned refund costs of EUR 200 per band + board and lodging (for the day of the performance) + 3-day pass for each band member.
Projects that are selected for the finals will be asked for the Technical Data Sheet (based on this, it will be defined what to bring as personal tools and what will be provided by the organisation)
