Supernova It is the competition that selects three new art projects who will be performing on stage at Color Fest 15, 11, 12 and 13 August 2027 in Lamezia Terme. We are looking for new musical projects to support their development, by including them in the Festival’s line-up.
Color Fest is built around a focus on emerging talents and their career paths. During the two finals, a jury of industry experts will select the three winners. The deadline for entries is 23 November 2026. For full details, read the regulation.

FAQ
What to do to register?
To enter the competition, you must complete the form to register, by clicking on one of the buttons on this page. You will be asked to three tracks to be submitted for assessment, to be included exclusively via a link to a streaming player: Spotify, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Mixcloud, YouTube or any other platform that allows you to listen to the track.
Please note: File uploads are not permitted. Non-public or private links will never be disseminated: they will be used solely by the jury for the assessment.
You can choose to take part in just one of the two finals, as you wish: on the form you will be asked to make this choice.
Once you have completed the form, you can pay the entry fee via Stripe in complete security. Once payment has been made, you will be registered and will have access to the jury’s assessment. The finalists will be announced via the festival’s official channels and will also be notified by email.
How much does it cost to register?
The registration fee is 30,99 €, both for solo projects and for bands.
How long do I have to enrol?
Registration opens Monday 14 September at 10.00 am and they close Monday 23 November 2026. After that date, it will no longer be possible to apply or complete an unfinished registration.
How will the selection take place?
The jury will listen to the three tracks submitted during the registration phase via a link. The following will be selected 5 finalists for each of the two finals, announced via the festival’s official channels and by email.
N.B. Any link submitted via the form that does not work, is private (with no access) or is invalid will be automatically rejected. Please check carefully that the links open and play the track before proceeding.
Where will the finals take place?
The two finals will be held on 10 December 2026 at the Cortile Café in Bologna and the 27 December 2026 at the Santo Bevitore in Lamezia Terme (CZ). Further information will be provided closer to the finals. The live performances will take place in front of the judging panel, as part of a public event dedicated to Supernova. The performances may be recorded and subsequently published on the Color Fest channels.
What is the prize?
The three winning projects will perform on stage at Color Fest 15, on 11, 12 or 13 August 2027. A reimbursement of expenses of €200 per call for proposals, plus board and lodging on the day of the performance and a three-day pass for each band member.
How does logistics work?
Projects selected for the finals will be asked to submit a technical specification sheet: based on this, it will be determined what personal equipment participants should bring and what will be provided by the organisers.
