Marco Castello is a musician and singer-songwriter from Syracuse. With his first album 'Contenta tu' (2021, Bubbles records/42 Records) he gained recognition in Italy and abroad. He boasts numerous collaborations including Erlend Oye & La Comitiva, Nu Genea, Fulminacci, Mace, Calibro 35.
Particularly fond of the sounds of the seventies, he meticulously researches the naturalness of the instruments he plays, reducing the use of effects and post-production to a minimum.

His language is ironic and perpetually seduced by the contrast between contemporary beauty and squalor, which coexist alternately in the desecrating tale of a universal provincialism. In autumn 2023, he released his second album 'Pieces of the Evening' as an independent, founding the label Megghiu Suli in Syracuse.
