Falcone and Borsellino“ waterfront”
Lamezia Terme (CZ) Calabria - Southern Italy

Holden is one of the most recognisable voices of the new Italian pop scene: author, producer and performer, combines emotional writing and obsessive attention to sound, constructing tracks that speak the language of the present without sacrificing depth. His path stems from music played and composed in the first person, with a melodic sensitivity strong and a taste for arrangement that can be heard as much in the studio as live. In concerts, he alternates intensity and lightness with a very clear narrative: direct songs, refrains that stick with you, and that rare ability to transform personal experience into something collective.
Zimpel, on the other hand, represents the more explorative and hypnotic side of the evening: an artist working on the border between electronics, experimentation and construction of soundscapes. His approach is that of someone who uses instruments and textures as living matter, weaving layers, dynamics and controlled improvisations to create a set that is never “just” a set list, but a journey. It is the kind of live show that grabs you and takes you elsewhere: rhythms, pulsations, microscopic details and wide openings, with a constant tension between energy and contemplation.
Two different languages, one same idea of the stage: strong identity, care, research.
📍 11 August Holden and Zimpel will be featured at Colour Fest 14, ready to sign an evening that moves from contemporary song to electronic experimentation, on the Falcone Borsellino Promenade.
