Cloudface is among the most original and surprising voices on the new Italian music scene. Behind the stage name is Alessandro Feruda, singer, author and producer class of 2002, originally from Valtellina, capable of constructing a sound universe in which dreamy electronics, hyperpop e songwriting merge into something unique and recognisable.
His path does not follow a linear trajectory. It begins by playing the piano at 5 years old, studies for years with a private teacher, then moves to Milan to attend the faculty of Physics at Bicocca. But the music does not let him go: during the lockdown of 2021 approaches the electronic music, he began experimenting and published his first tracks on Soundcloud under the pseudonym afaceinacloud. Meanwhile he studies Audio and Production Techniques at NAM in Milan, refining an increasingly well-defined artistic vision.
In October 2022 releases its first EP, Fields & Hidden Treasures, and definitively adopts the name cloudface. From there, the path accelerates: singles as an independent, the first live shows in a constantly evolving set, signing as an author with Universal Publishing and, at the end 2023, the agreement with Columbia Records / Sony Music Italy.
The 12 April 2024 his debut album is released, the stars* the sun; the rainbow)), a visionary collection in which fictional stories and real feelings intertwine on a carpet of dreamy synths, pulse almost EBM, leaps eurodance and a use of the’autotune that does not mask but amplifies the sincerity of the timbre. Critics hail him as one of the freshest and most unpredictable proposals on the Italian scene.
The 23 May 2025 the second album arrives, the sweet memory of our desperate youth, always for Columbia Records / Sony Music Italythirteen tracks of electronic hyper pop that mix nostalgia and lightness, magnetic lyrics and minimal but powerful arrangements, confirming a constantly growing artistic maturity. The album is anticipated by the singles desperate youth, take me dancing in spring e thunderbolt, and is followed by the single an hour as before (November 2025).
The Desperate Youth Club Tour 2026 takes him on stages all over Italy with dates sold out - since Monk in Rome to the double replica at Santeria Toscana 31 in Milan - confirming an intense, intimate and magnetic live show, capable of creating authentic connections with the audience.
11 August 2026 cloudface arrives for the first time in Calabria on stage at the Colour Fest 14, the most important independent festival in Southern Italy, scheduled for the’11, 12 and 13 August on Falcone and Borsellino promenade by Lamezia Terme.
