By Car
From the'A2 motorway of the Mediterranean, go out to Lamezia Terme and follow the signs for the seafront. There are two official car parks; those who book the campsite have a dedicated parking space included.
By Train
You arrive at the station of Lamezia Terme Central, a Trenitalia hub on the Tyrrhenian line. From there, it’s a 10-minute taxi or bus ride to the beach: during the three days of the festival, there is a city shuttle with 18 services a day.
By plane
L'Lamezia Terme International Airport (SUF) It’s 10 minutes from the festival. Direct flights from all over Italy and Europe.
By taxi / NCC
Taxis and NCCs available H24 from the airport and station. Dedicated service for festival-goers during the three days.
By bus
City shuttle Railway station → festival on 11, 12 and 13 August, with 18 journeys a day by route. Regional buses Bilotta Autoservices with a ticket from €2.19 e FlixBus with a stop in Gizzeria Lido from all over Italy.

A local bus service connects the Lamezia Terme railway station at the Riviera dei Tramonti over the three days of the festival.
The services at 00:31, 00:45 and 00:50 run overnight between one festival day and the next. The timings are as provided by the service operator and are subject to change.

SS 18, junction with Via Tropea. This is the terminus for all outbound journeys and the starting point for some return journeys.

Buy your ticket at an authorised retailer or directly from your smartphone using the app MooneyGo. Once you’ve downloaded the app:

The Color Fest promotes sustainable transport. Getting to train and continue with the city shuttle It helps to reduce the number of cars on the seafront: less traffic, more summer for everyone. Not sure who to come with? There’s a Telegram group where festival-goers organise themselves to car-sharing and travelling together.

Answers to the most frequently asked questions about how to get to the festival.
Can I arrive on the same day from Rome or Milan?
Yes. There are direct flights to Lamezia Terme (SUF) from Rome and Milan all year round. There are also same-day Frecciarossa and Intercity trains from Rome.
Is there a bus from the station to the festival?
Yes. During the three days of the festival, on 11, 12 and 13 August, a city bus will run between Lamezia Terme railway station and the festival site, with 18 journeys a day in each direction, from morning until late at night. Tickets can be purchased from authorised outlets or via the MooneyGo app: View all timetables.
What time do the last trains back to the station run in the evening?
The last return journey to the railway station leaves from Via Rinaldo Miceli at 00:31 and arrives at the station at 00:45. Before that, there are services at 21:31 and 23:16, and, in the afternoon and evening, roughly one service per hour.
Is there a car park at the festival?
Yes, there are two official car parks in the Lungomare Falcone e Borsellino area, with a limited number of spaces: Car Park 1 (recommended) e Parking 2. Those booking a camping pitch have a dedicated parking space included; for everyone else, we recommend arriving early or using public transport.
Do you have any advice for wheelchair users?
Yes. The seafront is accessible and there are designated areas. Please email scrivi@colorfest.it to organise your visit at your own convenience.
Is it better to get about without a car once you’ve arrived?
Absolutely: the festival is on the seafront and most of the facilities are within walking distance. For longer journeys, there are taxis, private hire cars and local buses.
