Deadletter
Deadletter is one of the most interesting acts to emerge from the new British post-punk wave. Born in the UK, they quickly built a recognisable sound identity: taut guitars, pulsating bass lines, tight rhythms and a voice capable of alternating irony, social criticism and emotional tension.
Their music is rooted in the post-punk tradition, but does not live on nostalgia. There is a contemporary, urban, almost theatrical energy that makes each track a controlled little explosion. The structures are dynamic, the lyrics edgy, the attitude direct and unfiltered.
Live, Deadletter turn the stage into a nervous organism: constant movement, magnetic stage presence and an intensity that engages the audience from the first song. Theirs is a set that allows no pauses, built on hypnotic grooves and climaxes that rise to deflagration.
On 13 August at the Color Fest they will bring all the power of the new UK scene, in a show designed for those looking for rough sounds, electric vibes and concerts that can be felt in the stomach before the ears.
