APPARAT (live)

APPARAT - 11 August - Colour Fest 14

bio:

Apparat, stage name of Sascha Ring, was born in 1978 in Germany and has over time built up one of the most profound and recognisable trajectories in European electronics. His research stems from the encounter between technology and feeling, between digital structures and an intimist sensibility that runs through each of his compositions. From the very beginning, Apparat has shown an aptitude for pushing the boundaries of clubbing, transforming electronics into an emotional and narrative language.

After the first works released in the early 2000s, his artistic vision expanded through seminal albums such as Walls e The Devil's Walk, to projects that marked a turning point in the contamination between electronic music and cinematic imagery. At the same time, his experience with Moderat helped define a powerful and recognisable sound aesthetic, capable of speaking to different audiences without ever renouncing complexity.

Over the years, Apparat has honed an intense and immersive live dimension, in which sound, visuals and atmosphere merge into a single experience. His performances do not seek immediate impact, but build a profound dialogue with the listener, suspended between melancholy, introspection and emotional tension. It is music that does not simply accompany the night: it runs through it.
