Supernova is back. Three original tracks, one format, two live finals: the three winning projects will perform on stage at Color Fest 15 on 11, 12 and 13 August 2027 in Lamezia Terme, alongside the festival’s official line-up.
The Colour Fest It is one of the most eagerly awaited events of the year in southern Italy and a real opportunity for the bands and up-and-coming artists to make a name for themselves. Each edition features a line-up of artists of national and international standing, and every year three slots on the programme are reserved for the winners Supernova.
The competition is open to all up-and-coming bands and artists, regardless of musical genre, provided that they have three original tracks In the set list: no cover versions. Taking part is simple: fill in the form on the Color Fest website, enter the links to the three tracks (Spotify, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, YouTube or other players), choose the final and pay a participation fee of 30,99 €.
Non-public links are never made public: these are only used by the jury for the judging process. The winners will be included in the line-up for Color Fest 15 and in the festival’s programme, such as #Backstage, the Color Fest podcast which has already featured the winners from previous years.

At the end of the form, you’ll see 30,99 € via Stripe. From that moment on, you’re registered and your tracks will be sent to the judging panel.
The jury listens to the songs and chooses 5 finalists for each final. The names are published on the festival’s official channels and sent out by email.

Five finalists per evening, with a live performance open to the public in front of the judging panel. Use the form to choose which final you wish to enter.
Finalists are asked to submit a technical specification sheet: based on this, the organisers will determine what participants need to bring and what will be provided. Performances may be recorded and published on the Color Fest channels.
The three winners will join the official line-up and perform on 11, 12 or 13 August 2027 in Lamezia Terme, on the Riviera dei Tramonti.
For each winning project, recognised for its participation in the festival.
On the day of the performance, this will be covered by the organisers.

This is the Color Fest competition for emerging bands and artists. Every year, it selects three acts to feature in the festival’s official line-up: for this edition, the stage will be at Color Fest 15, on 11, 12 and 13 August 2027 in Lamezia Terme.
Bands and solo artists of any musical genre, with three original songs in their repertoire. The rules stipulate a single category. On the form, please select whether you wish to enter the final in Bologna (10 December 2026) or the final in Lamezia Terme (27 December 2026).
The three winners will perform at Color Fest 15 and receive a €200 expense allowance per project, board and lodging for the day of the performance, and a three-day pass for each member.
The registration fee is 30,99 € Per project, the same applies to soloists and bands. Payment is made at the end of the form via Stripe and is non-refundable.
Registration opens on 14 September 2026 and closes Monday 23 November 2026. After that date, it will no longer be possible to apply or complete an application that has been left unfinished.
No. The three tracks must be original tracks, whether published or unpublished: covers of other artists’ songs are not permitted.
