Edition for Color Fest 15 · 11, 12 and 13 August 2027 · Lamezia Terme
Supernova It is the competition that selects three new art projects who will be performing on stage at Colour Fest 15, on 11, 12 and 13 August 2027 in Lamezia Terme. The competition has been organised with the aim – in line with the festival’s mission – of promoting opportunities for emerging artists, facilitating their access to professional networks in the live music scene and fostering their connections with the music industry.

Registration opens Monday 14 September 2026 at 10.00 am. The registration deadline For the 2027 edition, it is set, unless extended, at Monday 23 November 2026. After that date, it will no longer be possible to submit new applications or complete any pending registrations.
An application is only considered valid once all the steps in the form have been completed and the registration fee referred to in Article 4 has been paid. Anyone who has started filling in the form but has not completed it may resume from the page colorfest.it/custom_recall, by entering the email address you used.
There is only one artistic category for entry. The only distinction concerns the final in which the entrant chooses to compete, as indicated on the entry form. There are two finals:
The following are permitted for each final: 5 finalist projects.
Stage 1. Each project is assessed by a jury comprising experts and professionals from the music industry three tracks, whether published or unpublished, exclusively via links to streaming platforms (Spotify, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, YouTube, Mixcloud or other platforms that allow the track to be listened to). File uploads are not supported. Links that do not work, are private and cannot be accessed, or are invalid will result in the track being excluded from the assessment.
Stage 2. Following the jury’s assessment, the following are selected: 5 finalist projects for each final, who will be performing live on the evening chosen at the time of registration (Bologna or Lamezia Terme).
I three winners The overall winners of the two finals will be included in the official line-up for Color Fest 15. The allocation of the performance day (11, 12 or 13 August 2027) is determined by the Festival based on the artistic director’s choices, in line with the proposed musical genre and the programme for each day.
The registration fee is 30,99 €, whether for solo projects or bands. Payment is made at the end of the form, simply and securely, via the secure system Stripe. The fee is non-refundable.
The evaluation of the pieces is carried out by a a panel comprising experts and professionals from the music industry. The jury’s decision is final. A detailed assessment accompanied by a comment may be requested explicitly: due to the high number of entries, this is not provided to all participants.
To facilitate the jury’s listening, some tracks may be temporarily saved as local copies, only where the source platform permits this and solely to make the assessment more efficient. The files obtained in this way will not be disclosed, published or shared in any way, nor will they be used for any purpose other than the internal assessment provided for in these rules.
The finalists are announced via the Festival’s official channels and notified by email to the address provided on the form.
The finals take place Thursday 10 December 2026 at the Cortile Café in Bologna e Sunday 27 December 2026 at the Santo Bevitore in Lamezia Terme, at events open to the public. Five acts perform on each evening; at the end of the two finals, a total of 3 winners. Performances may be recorded and published on Color Fest’s channels.
Finalist projects will be asked to submit a technical specification sheet, on the basis of which it will be determined what personal equipment participants should bring and what will be provided by the organisers.
The three winning projects will be showcased over the three days of Colour Fest 15. A reimbursement of expenses of €200 per project, as well as board and lodging for the day of the performance and at the'3-day pass at the festival for each member.
By completing the form, participants agree to these terms and conditions and to the processing of their personal data in accordance with the'Privacy Policy. The tracks submitted, including unreleased ones, will not be disclosed in any way by Color Fest and will be used solely for the purposes of assessment by the jury.
