Lamezia Terme city centre: hotels and B&B

In centre in Lamezia Terme find 3-4 star hotels and numerous B&B on a medium budget. It is the right choice if you also want to visit the historic centrethe Norman-Swabian Castle, the thermal baths of Charon and eat in a trattoria. Time to reach the festival in cars: 10-15 minutes. In taxi or car-pooling on the way back is the safest formula after the live shows.

Riviera dei Tramonti / Marina di Gizzeria: walking from the stage

The whole band Falcone and Borsellino promenade, up to Marina di Gizzeria, is punctuated by residence, holiday homes e B&B directly by the sea. It is the most comfortable choice: 10-20 minutes on foot from the festival, no parking to search for in the evening, bathroom as soon as you wake up. Camping and glamping

A few kilometres inland, in the mountains presilani and in the plain of Sant'Eufemia, there are farmhouses e farms combining centuries-old olive trees, traditional cuisine and honest prices. They are perfect if you come with the family, with a car, and want a more restful experience between a day at the beach and an evening live.

Practical tips to avoid mistakes

Three golden rules: 1) book early - August in Calabria is high season and availability runs out by May-June. 2) check distance by car, not only “as the crow flies”: the road along the coast is smooth but in the middle of summer it requires buffer of 10-15 minutes. 3) do not drive after concerts: use the taxi, shuttles and car-pooling between subscribers.
