The 1 May 2026, three realities of the Italian independent scene come together for a special day: Colour Fest, GoGoBo e Montagnola Republic together present a celebration of music, community and solidarity in the heart of Bologna, at Montagnola Park. Concerts, DJ sets, food & drink area, surrounded by greenery. At free admission.

Two festivals together, one landmark

Two important festivals on the Italian independent scene join forces in Bologna, along with Montagnola Republic e Arci, in an iconic location in the city. The Parco della Montagnola, a historic green lung in the centre of Bologna, becomes for one day the stage for a day of music in the green, for work, to celebrate 1 May with the language that Color Fest and GoGoBo know best: live music, community, discovery.

The lineup: concerts and DJ sets from 12:00 to 23:30

At two stages, from midday to night, fifteen artists and musical projects representing the best of the contemporary Italian independent scene will take turns:

A programme ranging from electronic to global productions of Clap! Clap!, by the voice of Mile to the sound universe of Whitemary, from the poetic spoken word of Max Collini to the most interesting new proposals on the Italian scene. Lie in the green, dance under the stage or relax in the food & drink area - you choose how you want to live the day.

How it works

The rules are simple: from 12:00 to 23:30, concerts and DJ sets on two stages in the beautiful Montagnola space. Admission is completely free. Food and drink area to accompany the day, all surrounded by the greenery of one of Bologna's best-loved parks.

Join us: fundraising for Calabria

The day of 1 May will not only be about music. During the event it will be possible contribute to a fundraiser to support workers affected by the hurricane in Calabria. A concrete gesture of solidarity combining celebration with responsibility, music with commitment - in the spirit that has always animated the Color Fest, GoGoBo and their community.
