Color Fest KIDS: an electronic music workshop for young talents
Color Fest KIDS is a fascinating music workshop for young fans of electronic music. This project is an extension of the Colour Fest, the summer festival scheduled in Calabria from 14 to 16 August 2024, an event celebrating music, art, culture and entertainment in various forms.
Fruit of the collaboration with theIstituto Comprensivo Secondario Di Primo Grado 'Corrado Alvaro' of Maida (CZ), Color Fest KIDS set up an electronic music workshop inaugurated on 6 February 2024. This initiative, entirely financed by Color Fest in collaboration with the 8×1000 of the Waldensian Church, involves middle school students, led by our expert teachers, Giuseppe Bottino and Costantino Rizzuti.
Students have the opportunity to explore the wide world of electronic music, experimenting with samples and synthesisers, and even creating their own instruments to compose original pieces. The culmination of the workshop will be an orchestral concert, where the young musicians can showcase their skills and creative works.
The Color Fest KIDS is an event that bears witness to our ardent love for music and our commitment to education. The aim is to bring young people closer to the genre of electronic music, which offers endless possibilities for expression and creativity. This project is also a vehicle to enhance the Calabrian territory by hosting the Color Fest and the electronic music workshop, and to promote culture and art among the new generations.
Although the workshop is mainly for the students of the Istituto Comprensivo Statale di Maida, you can keep up to date with news and information via our website and social channels. The Color Fest KIDS promises a unique and unforgettable experience for young electronic music lovers eager to discover and cultivate their talent and passion.

A single ticket for the whole day, including Cosmo’s concert in the morning (7.30–11.00 am, the album *La Fonte* at dawn on the beach). Also on the line-up: Sébastien Tellier, The Zen Circus (only date in Calabria), Tutti Fenomeni (only date in Calabria), Yīn Yīn, Nico Arezzo + Anna Castiglia and others.
Ticket for the only Morning concert (7.30–11.00 am): the album «La Fonte» performed at dawn on the beach. Fancy staying for the rest of the day too? The ticket for the 12 August (€51) includes Cosmo.

All concerts take place at the Lungomare Falcone e Borsellino, Lamezia Terme (CZ), Calabria. Prices include booking fees.
