Color Fest 2026: Three days of music on the Riviera of Tramonti from 11 to 13 August

The Colour Fest 2026 back to Falcone and Borsellino promenade by Lamezia Terme for its fourteenth edition: from the’11 to 13 August 2026, beneath the slogan “Summer on a Solitary Beach”, Calabria’s leading independent and avant-garde music festival, is once again transforming the Riviera of Sunsets on an open-air stage. Three days, four stages and a line-up featuring international headliners, Italian singer-songwriters and new discoveries from the underground scene: this guide brings together everything you need to know to enjoy the 14th edition, from the day-by-day line-up to practical information on tickets, accommodation and how to get there.

Organised by the association What Are Clouds APS — active since 2012 - the Colour Fest It has grown with each passing year to become one of Italy’s leading independent festivals. Since moving to the coast, the Riviera dei Tramonti has proved to be the festival’s natural home: the stages stand between the sand and the pine forest, the audience moves between the concerts and the shore, and the Stromboli volcano lights up on the horizon as the evening’s final notes fade away.

Color Fest 2026: dates, venue and slogan for the 14th edition

The dates to note in your diary are Tuesday 11, Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 August 2026. The venue is the Falcone and Borsellino promenade by Lamezia Terme (CZ), a stretch of the Tyrrhenian coast overlooking the Gulf of Sant’Eufemia known as Riviera of Sunsets for the spectacular twilight hues that paint the sky above the sea every evening. The slogan chosen for the 2026 edition, “Summer on a Solitary Beach”, captures precisely this aspect: music and landscape blending into an immersive experience, far removed from the atmosphere of a large urban festival.

This stretch of the Lametino coastline offers a stunning natural setting that offers so much more than just a concert. The sea breeze, the sound of the waves and the enchanting atmosphere of the sunset make every day a total immersion in music and the local area, in a format that is unrivalled among summer festivals in Southern Italy. The full programme can be viewed in detail at’the centrepiece of the 2026 line-up.

The four stages of Color Fest XIV

The 2026 edition will take place over four stages, each with its own distinct sound and spatial character, to which is added the area of the Colour Market. Moving from one stage to another, between performances, is an integral part of the festival experience.

  • Tramonti Stage (CUPRA Stage) — the main stage overlooking the sea, hosting the most eagerly awaited live performances at sunset and in the evening.
  • Pinewood Stage — nestled amongst the trees, with a more intimate and shaded atmosphere; it also hosts special, off-the-beaten-track events, such as Cosmo’s dawn concert.
  • Future Stage — a space for electronic music, DJ sets and exploration of new directions in club culture.
  • Marley Stage — the acoustic stage, designed for more intimate performances and stripped-back line-ups.

The official automotive partner for this year’s event is CUPRA, which gives its name to the Sunsets Stage. The Colour Market, Finally, there is the area dedicated to local crafts, food and projects: a meeting place where you can take a break between concerts.

Day 1 — Monday 11 August: Apparat opens the festival

On the first day, Tuesday 11 August 2026, is led by Apparat, the stage name of the Berlin-based producer and composer Sascha Ring: six years on from the Grammy-nominated LP5, will be performing their new album live with a full band A Hum Of Maybe (published in February 2026), an album that continues his signature style of modular textures, intricate electronica and vocal presence. Alongside him, the C'mon Tigre, an Italian collective with a mysterious identity that blends jazz, funk, Afrobeat, psychedelia and electronic music in a live performance with a strong visual element.

The evening continues with the electro-acoustic duo James Holden & Wacław Zimpel, the fusion of the British musician’s modular electronics and the Polish musician’s wind instruments, and featuring the singer-songwriter Gaia Banfi. The projects round off Day 1 Labadessa, Cloudface e First Room to the Right, voices from the new Italian independent scene.

Day 2 — Tuesday 12 August: from Cosmo’s dawn concert to Sébastien Tellier

On the second day, Wednesday 12 August 2026, opens in a completely new way: Cosmo leads to Pinewood Stage his dawn concert (in the morning, roughly between 8 and 11), part of the Matinée Tour on which he is presenting his new album The Source. It is one of the most evocative moments of the entire festival: the music by the producer from Ivrea accompanying the sunrise over the sea at Lamezia.

He takes to the main stage this evening Sébastien Tellier, a Parisian multi-instrumentalist who blends pop, 1980s electro and soundtrack-style atmospheres, fresh from the release of his album Kiss the Beast (released in January 2026). Along with him, the The Zen Circus, a legendary Italian indie rock band, and All Phenomena, both in only date in Calabria.

The day is rounded off with the Yin Yin, their psych-funk with Southeast Asian influences, the duo formed by Nico Arezzo and Anna Castiglia and the DJ set by Populous, one of Italy’s most internationally renowned electronics manufacturers.

Day 3 — Wednesday 13 August: the grand finale with Django Django and La Nina

The third and final day, Thursday 13 August 2026, brings the festival to a spectacular close. Headlining Day 3 are the Django Django, an Edinburgh-based quartet and one of the most recognisable names in British art-pop and psychedelia, fresh from their album HOME. On the same stage, the Neapolitan singer-songwriter La Nina — pseudonym of Carola Moccia — in only date in Calabria: his album Furèsta won the Targa Tenco 2025 for the best album in the local dialect.

To complete the closure, Dimartino, the British post-punk band Deadletter, the ritualistic and dark sounds of Mai Mai and the DJ set by OKGIORGIO, which will keep the audience entertained until the early hours. The line-up is still being finalised: further names will be announced in the coming weeks.
