Bio by Dimartino - Color Fest 14 | 13 August 2026
Dimartino is one of the most refined and visionary Italian singer-songwriters of his generation. Born in Agrigento in 1983, Antonio Di Martino has built over time a solid and transversal career, capable of moving elegantly between singer-songwriter, psychedelic pop and sound experimentation.
After their beginnings with the album Cara Maestra (2009) and a series of critically acclaimed solo works, the popular turning point came with their artistic partnership with Colapesce, which gave birth to Colapesce Dimartino: the Sicilian duo conquered the whole of Italy with Musica Leggerissima (2021), becoming one of the most iconic songs of recent years, and consolidated their status with the subsequent albums Separati sul palco and their participation in the Sanremo Festival.
Dimartino's solo career, however, tells another story: darker, more intimate, more courageous. From the albums I mortali (2017) and I mortali² (2019) to the acclaimed Hawaii (2022), diMartino explores soundscapes that mix references to the great Sicilian tradition, psychedelia and international auteur pop. His writing, at once ironic and profound, makes him a unique voice on the contemporary Italian music scene.
At Color Fest 14, on 13 August 2026 on the Lungomare Falcone e Borsellino promenade in Lamezia Terme, diMartino brings his live performance on the only date in Calabria: a concert that promises to be one of the most intense and eagerly awaited moments of the entire kermesse.
