NEVER EVER is an Italian musical project born from the encounter between electronic experimentation, sound rituals and archaic imagery. At the centre of its research is sound as a physical and spiritual experience, capable of evoking ancestral landscapes, trance states and timeless dimensions. Mai Mai's music moves far from conventional structures, favouring hypnotic repetition, primordial rhythm and continuous transformation.

The project fuses analogue electronics, tribal percussion, drones and folkloric suggestions, creating a language that looks as much to the most radical club culture as to Mediterranean and Middle Eastern ritual traditions. The compositions develop as constantly mutating sound streams, where the boundary between electronic music, performance and collective ritual becomes deliberately thin. Each record release represents a chapter of a coherent and profound research, oriented towards the exploration of sound as a means of emotional and symbolic connection.

Live, mai mai builds immersive and magnetic performances in which the audience is called upon to participate in a total sensory experience. The live performance becomes a suspended space, made up of pulsations, layers of sound and emotional tension, where body and listening merge into a single movement. There is no clear distinction between stage and audience: the music acts as a collective, hypnotic and cathartic force.
