Scarda, a pseudonym for Domenico Scardamaglio, is an Italian singer-songwriter born in Naples on 16 March 1986. Raised in Vibo Valentia, he later moved to Rome to study law at the Sapienza University.

In 2012, he composed the soundtrack for Sydney Sibilia's film 'Smetto quando voglio', earning a David di Donatello nomination in 2014 for best original song.

On 16 December 2014, he released his debut album, 'I piedi sul cruscotto', under the MK Records label, which earned him a nomination for the Targa Tenco in 2015 as best debut work.

In 2018, the second album, 'Tormentone', was released on the Bianca Dischi label, anticipated by the singles 'Bianca', 'Mai' and 'Non relazione'.

In 2021, he released his third album, 'Bomboniere', consolidating his presence in the Italian music scene.

Scarda is known for his songwriting style that combines poetic lyrics with simple melodies, creating songs that 'embrace you and then stab you'.
