Mace, a pseudonym for Simone Benussi, is an Italian DJ and record producer born in Milan on 9 July 1982. His musical career began in 2003 with the duo La Crèmeformed together with Jack the Smoker, releasing the album Dawnconsidered a milestone in Italian rap.
In 2008 he founded the collective Reset!exploring electronic sounds and collaborating with international artists such as Fatboy Slim and Cassius. The group releases the album Future Madness in 2013.
Mace has produced hit tracks for numerous Italian artists, including Fabri Fibra's 'Pamplona', Salmo's 'Ho paura di uscire 2' and the album DNA by Ghali.
In 2021, he released his first solo album, OBEwhich debuted at number one in the FIMI charts and includes collaborations with artists such as Salmo, Blanco and Venerus.
In 2024, Mace continues to be a prominent figure in the Italian music scene, collaborating with various artists and participating in innovative projects.
