Giorgio Poi, pseudonym of Giorgio Poti, is an Italian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Novara on 12 April 1986. Raised between Lucca and Rome, he moved to London in his twenties, graduating in jazz guitar from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. During this period he founded the band Vadoinmessicowhich later becomes Cairobipublishing the album Archaeology of the Future and playing in Europe and the United States.

In 2016, he launched his solo career with the singles 'Nothing Strange' and 'Tubing', followed by his debut album Never mind in 2017, characterised by indie pop and psychedelic sounds. He collaborates with artists such as Frah Quintale in the single 'Missiles' (2018) and Carl Brave in 'Blue Camel'. In 2019, he released his second album Smog, anticipated by the singles 'Vinavil' and 'La musica italiana' with Calcutta. Composing the soundtrack of the Netflix series Summertime (2020) and in 2021 the third album will be released Foam rubber. In 2024, he co-produced the album Relax by Calcutta and co-writes the songs 'Allegria' and 'Ghiaccioli'. On 14 March 2025, he released the single 'Men against insects'.

Giorgio Poi's style combines influences from the Italian songwriting tradition with elements of psychedelic pop, creating a distinctive sound in the contemporary music scene.
