I Dissension are an artistic project that combines rock music, theatre e live performanceborn from the encounter between Michelangelo, Valentino and Francesco. They do not like labels, nor too narrow definitions: their music is 'theirs', and that's all. An original and disorienting mix that eludes genres, but is rooted in an theatrical rock capable of surprising, moving or pissing off.

Since time immemorial, the live from Dissidio are not just concerts, but real shows where the stage element has the same weight as the music. A performative approach that has made them one of the most recognisable and unconventional bands on the Italian independent scene.

Over the years they have collected numerous awards: winners of Arezzo Wave Calabria, Martelive Calabria, Rock Auser e B-Live Music Contest Italyperformed alongside artists such as Line 77, Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil), Frankie HI-NRG, Ministers, Nobraino, The Zen Circus, Giorgio Canali, Ricky Portera, Kutso e Rezophonic. They also appeared on Rai 3within the programme BLOB.

Their first official album was released on 1 March, Thisorientationa work that synthesises years of experiences, influences and artistic visions. But - as they would say - that is not the point either.
