Following the years of global success alongside Colapesce<\/strong>, Antonio Di Martino<\/strong> returns to its original size of solo singer-songwriter<\/strong> and leads to the Falcone and Borsellino promenade<\/strong> the songs from his new album. A concert of exquisite craftsmanship, set within the 14th edition<\/strong> signed \u201cSummer on a Solitary Beach\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Antonio Di Martino<\/strong>, in art Dimartino<\/strong>, was born in Palermo<\/strong> the 1 December 1982<\/strong>. His journey into music began in 1998<\/strong> at the helm of the band Famelika<\/strong>, which he used until 2009. It was from that point onwards that he adopted his surname alone as his stage name and built a career as singer-songwriter<\/strong> one of the most respected of her generation, characterised by literary lyrics, melancholic irony and a melodic sensibility that draws on the great Italian tradition without ever compromising on artistic exploration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a solo artist, he has released albums that have become minor landmarks in the singer-songwriter genre: \u201cDear teacher, we\u2019ve lost\u201d<\/em> (2010<\/strong>), \u201cIt would be lovely never to part, but letting go every now and then is useful\u201d<\/em> (2012<\/strong>), \u201cWe need a country\u201d<\/em> (2015<\/strong>), \u201cA Rare World\u201d<\/em> with Fabrizio Cammarata<\/strong> (2017<\/strong>) e \u201cAphrodite\u201d<\/em> (2019<\/strong>). From his years with Colapesce to his return as a solo artist<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Between the 2020<\/strong> and the 2024<\/strong>, Dimartino<\/strong> brings to life with Colapesce<\/strong> to one of the most popular projects in recent Italian pop. Together they have released the albums \u201cMortals\u201d<\/em> (2020<\/strong>) e \u201cLux Eterna Beach\u201d<\/em> (2023<\/strong>), the film\u2019s soundtrack \u201cThe Spring of My Life\u201d<\/em> (2023<\/strong>) and the live album featuring an orchestra \u201cStrings, brass and worry\u201d<\/em> (2024<\/strong>). On stage at the\u2019Ariston<\/strong> They perform two songs that have become part of the collective imagination: \u201cVery light music\u201d<\/em> a Sanremo 2021<\/strong> (fourth place) and \u201cSplash\u201d<\/em> a Sanremo 2023<\/strong>, along with the \u201cMia Martini\u201d Critics\u2019 Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024<\/strong> The duo have announced they are taking a break. In the 2025<\/strong> Dimartino is, however, returning to the\u2019Ariston<\/strong>, a guest of my friend Brunori Sas<\/strong> on the evening of the cover versions. But it is the 2026<\/strong> the year of the real turning point: seven years after his last album under his own name, the singer-songwriter is relaunching his solo career. And this is precisely the version of Dimartino<\/strong> which reaches the Colour Fest 14<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Unlikely Flood of the Oreto\u201d: the new album from 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

L\u20198 May 2026<\/strong> comes out \u201cThe Unlikely Flooding of the Oreto\u201d<\/em>, the new solo album by Dimartino<\/strong>, preceded by the single \u201cThe Gold of the River\u201d<\/em> (20 March 2026<\/strong>), a folk ballad produced by Roberto Cammarata<\/strong>. The album takes its name from the\u2019Oreto<\/strong>, the river of Palermo<\/strong>, and turns it into a symbol: the stream as a metaphor for the quest, mystery and transformation. The songs explore the meaning of the quest, and the relationship between what we pursue and what really matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To mark the release, Dimartino<\/strong> has opted for an intimate and radical format: guitar and vocals<\/strong>, in unusual and evocative settings, to \u201cstrip the song down and restore its fragility\u201d. The same sensitivity that he will bring to the Falcone and Borsellino promenade<\/strong>, where every word carries weight and every silence becomes part of the song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The live sound: vocals, songwriting, simplicity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the solo version, Dimartino<\/strong> retains the text editing<\/strong> which has always set him apart, but shifts the focus towards a more intimate, chamber-music-style sound: acoustic guitar, melody and lyrics, with nothing to hide behind the arrangements. The songs gain in intimacy what they lose in radio appeal, becoming an intimate dialogue with the listener.
