La Ni\u00f1a at Color Fest 14<\/strong> is one of the most anticipated events of the 14th edition<\/strong>: the Carola Moccia, a Neapolitan singer-songwriter and producer<\/strong> door on the Riviera of Sunsets<\/strong> by Lamezia Terme (CZ)<\/strong> his visionary Neapolitan style, poised between ancient roots and the avant-garde. See you at Day 3<\/strong>, Thursday 13 August 2026<\/strong>, on the day the festival dedicates to the most radical voices of our Southern music<\/strong>. The Colour Fest 14<\/strong> the\u201911, 12 and 13 August 2026<\/strong> under the slogan \u201cSummer on a Solitary Beach\u201d<\/em>, organised by What Are Clouds APS<\/strong>. A set that is at once a ritual, a journey and a poetic statement, to be experienced at sunset by the sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who is La Ni\u00f1a?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

La Ni\u00f1a<\/strong> is the stage name of Carola Moccia<\/strong>, Neapolitan singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer<\/strong>. His project stems from the need to create a dialogue between the Neapolitan tradition<\/strong> with a contemporary sensibility, using the Neapolitan dialect<\/strong> as a comprehensive expressive language \u2014 not a folkloric quirk, but a poetic tool capable of spanning music, theatre, cinema and dance. Over the years, she has established herself as one of the most original and independent figures in the the new Italian scene<\/strong>, creating a world where the sacred and the popular, the archaic and the digital coexist naturally: he does not merely sing, he creates works<\/strong> in which the voice is just one of the languages at play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fur\u00e8sta: the Targa Tenco album<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Before \u201cFur\u00e8sta\u201d<\/em>, La Ni\u00f1a<\/strong> made his debut with the album \u201cVanitas\u201d<\/em> (2023<\/strong>), preceded by the single \u201cYou\u201d<\/em> with Franco Ricciardi<\/strong>, capable of exceeding 17 million views<\/strong> on YouTube. The episode that made her a star, however, is \u201cFur\u00e8sta\u201d<\/em>, the second studio album released on 21 March 2025<\/strong>: the title is a Neapolitan word meaning wild, untamed<\/em>, and the album is a rich work, filled with mandolins<\/em>, choirs<\/em> e protest songs<\/em>, which explores the roots and transformations of Neapolitan music, blending past and future, the traditional and the experimental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Written, composed and produced by La Ni\u00f1a<\/strong> together with Alfredo Maddaluno<\/strong>, \u201cFur\u00e8sta\u201d<\/em> won the Targa Tenco Award for Best Album in Dialect<\/strong>, one of the most prestigious awards in Italian music. Among the tracks that preceded it were \u201cGuappar\u00eca\u201d<\/em> e \u201cDaughter of the Storm\u201d<\/em>, perfect examples of his imagery, blending crime, childhood, the land and the storm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sound: avant-garde Neapolitan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The figure of La Ni\u00f1a<\/strong> is the a fusion of the Neapolitan dialect and contemporary culture<\/strong>: sings in Neapolitan<\/strong> weaving folk tradition<\/em>, songwriting<\/em>, R&B<\/em>, electronics<\/em> and a vein folk ritual<\/em> Mediterranean. The result is a distinctive brand of avant-pop, in which electronic beats blend with mandolins and processional choruses, and the vocals shift between lament, invocation and dance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Live, this exploration becomes a physical experience: the concert by La Ni\u00f1a<\/strong> is a secular ceremony<\/em> a blend of trance and melodic passages, and it works so well on a beach at sunset because it finds in the landscape of the Riviera of Sunsets<\/strong> a natural resonance chamber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
