I C'mon Tigre at Color Fest 14<\/strong> are one of the most anticipated events of the Day 1<\/strong>: Tuesday 11 August 2026<\/strong> the Italian collective with a hidden face brings its electro-jazz live to the Riviera of Sunsets<\/strong> by Lamezia Terme<\/strong>, on the Falcone and Borsellino promenade<\/strong>. A concert that blends Africa<\/strong>, jazz<\/strong> e Mediterranean<\/strong> in front of the sea of Calabria, inside the 14th edition<\/strong> of the festival with the claim \u201cSummer on a Solitary Beach\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About C'mon Tigre: a duo in hiding, a collective in sight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I C'mon Tigre<\/strong> arise in Italy in 2013<\/strong> as a duo<\/strong> which chose from the outset the\u2019anonymity<\/em>The two authors never show themselves publicly and foreground the musicians and visual artists with whom they collaborate. Their formula is simple and radical: \u201cC'mon Tigre is two people, C'mon Tigre is a collective of souls\u201d<\/em>. On stage, in fact, the duo dissolves into a extended band<\/strong> and cosmopolitan - woodwinds, strings, percussion, guest vocals - that transforms each concert into a small collective staging, in which the music counts more than the faces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside sound, the identity of the C'mon Tigre<\/strong> is strongly visual<\/strong>. The project worked with filmmakers and photographers such as Gianluigi Toccafondo<\/strong>, Donato Sansone<\/strong>, Danijel \u017de\u017eelj<\/strong> e Paolo Pellegrin<\/strong>, interweaving records, animations and images into a single imagery. Published on labels such as K7 Records<\/strong> e Interphones<\/strong>, Their work has built an international following around the project, with concerts in Europe<\/strong>, United States<\/strong> and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sound of C'mon Tigre: Africa, jazz, electronics and tropicalism<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The figure of C'mon Tigre<\/strong> is the contamination<\/strong>. Afrobeat<\/em>, jazz<\/em>, funk<\/em>, soul<\/em>, hip-hop<\/em>, electronics<\/em> and suggestions of the Mediterranean<\/em> come in and out of their songs without forcing, with rich, airy writing built on tribal rhythms<\/strong> e orchestral arrangements<\/strong>. The latest works have added a marked vein tropicalist<\/strong>, between samba<\/em>, forr\u00f3<\/em> and Brazilian colours. It is a electro-jazz with multicultural contaminations<\/em> which is only really understood live, when the ensemble opens the songs and lets them breathe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over time the C'mon Tigre<\/strong> have called on leading guests from the international scene to join them. Among the best-known collaborations Seun Kuti<\/strong> (son of Fela Kuti and heir to afrobeat), saxophonist Colin Stetson<\/strong>, the rapper Mick Jenkins<\/strong>, the singer Xenia Rubinos<\/strong>, the New York no-wave icon Arto Lindsay<\/strong>, the Brazilian voice Xenia Fran\u00e7a<\/strong> and the Italian singer-songwriter Giovanni Truppi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
